D-EAR-ly beloved: Local farmer proposes to fiance with 13-acre corn maze

A local farmer is now engaged to be married following what might be the best local proposal we’ve ever seen.

According to a social media post from Circle S Farms, one of its farmers, Tim Sullivan, used this year’s maze to propose to his fiance, Caroline Liggett.

The duo flew in a private airplane over the maze, which features the phrase: “Will you marry me Caroline?”

“After keeping it under wraps all summer, we’re thrilled to finally reveal our 2025 corn maze design… and it’s one for the books,” the farm’s post reads. “This year’s 13-acre maze was planted by our very own farmer Tim as a surprise marriage proposal to his now-fiancée, Caroline — and she said YES!”

Circle S Farms is located at 9015 London Groveport Rd. in Grove City.
