Former OnlyFans model sentenced to decades in prison after murder of ex in Ohio National Park

A Virginia woman—who was formerly an OnlyFans model and member of the United States Coast Guard—learned her fate after pleading guilty to shooting and killing her ex in Cuyahlga National Park in 2021.

Chelsea Perkins, 35, was sentenced to 270 months (22.5 years) in federal prison on Sept. 9, for the murder of her Matthew Dunmire, her ex.

She pleaded guilty to second degree murder charges in May.

According to federal investigators, in 2001, Perkins drove more than 300 miles from Alexandria, Virginia to meet her ex, Matthew Dunmire, in Cuyahoga National Park. She then shot and killed him the following day.

Investigators executed a search warrant on her property after, uncovering multiple firearms, including one with her DNA on it, and a fake suicide note written from Dunmire’s perspective.

Prosecutors believe the shooting stemmed from Perkins accusing Dunmire of rape in 2017. He was never prosecuted for the alleged rape.
