According to police, two men were arrested for allegedly stealing hundreds of pounds of meat from the Union City Help Center freezer earlier this month.

According to a Facebook post titled “Hamburglars Behind Bars” from Union City Police, Juan Anguiano and Justin Flint allegedly broke into the Help Center and stole the following:

24 loaves of bread

“This was definitely not a happy meal for them. They thought they could beef with the law, but we caught them before things got too rare,” the pun-filled police post reads. “Both Anguiano and Flint are facing multiple charges stemming from their crimes. The case has officially been closed — medium-well.”

Additionally, police said Flint is also a suspect in a recent string of vehicle break-ins, although it does not appear he’s been charged related to this.
