Hugely popular holiday lights display victim of hit and run

The lauded Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights was allegedly the victim of a hit run incident recently.

Late last week, Butch Bando’s made a social media post that included a photo of one of their light signs (which depicted the phrase “Fantasy of Lights” in red letters with a holiday-themed red and green border) that had been struck by a vehicle.

“Just to clarify, we are a drive-thru light show, now a drive thru our lights show,” the post reads.

Thankfully, the sign is now back up (with the help of some handiwork and a lot of zip ties, they noted), although it will eventually need to be repaired, the Butch Bando’s post reads. The post also claims the individual who drove through the display turned themselves into police. It’s unclear if they were charged with any crime.
