‘I’m gonna cut your f***ing head off:’ Ohio man pleads guilty to threatening to kill U.S. congressman

On Nov. 17, a Dayton man pleaded guilty to one charge of interstate communications with a threat to injure.

In July, Dayton resident Jeffery Dorsey was arrested after leaving a voicemail for U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan. The voicemail threatened to kill the politician over Dorsey’s Medicaid concerns.

“If you vote to take my f***ing Medicaid away, I’m gonna cut your f***ing head off…But I tell you this, clearly to your brain, if you f*** with my Medicaid, you’re a dead f***,” part of Dorsey’s alleged message to Jordan said, according to federal investigators.

Dorsey has not yet been sentenced for the incident, but according to federal statute, he could receive up to five years in federal prison for the crime.
