Local Speedway clerk accused of skimming 650+ credit cards at work

Detectives executed a search warrant at the home of Alando Thompson Jr. on Tuesday, February 25, where they found more than 650 fraudulent credit cards, card skimmers, and laptops used in a skimming scheme.

According to police, Thompson, a Speedway clerk at 715 Brown Rd., used a handheld credit card skimmer at work, stealing card information from customers who bought items inside the store (not at the gas pumps). Then, he would make counterfeit cards from the stolen card numbers.
