Longstanding family business vandalized over the weekend

A candy store known for their legendary buckeyes since 1946 was vandalized.

On Saturday evening, according to Facebook posts, Eagle City Candy had a large cement brick thrown at the window, shattering the business’ front facing window.

The fourth generation business is located in Clintonville, at 4590 N. High St., if you’d like to stock up on some chocolates and show your support.
