Man reportedly bites off security guard’s thumb at Columbus grocery store

Around 11:30 yesterday, August 6th, calls were made from the Kroger on Parsons Avenue in Merion Village about a man who allegedly bit off a portion of a security guard’s thumb.

Franklin County Municipal Court records show when the guard was attempting to escort LA Willis out of Kroger, Willis became combative and landed on top of the guard. When the guard reportedly tried to put Willis around his neck and shoulders, Willis allegedly bit the guard’s thumb. According to the records, the security guard said that in the past 30 days he’s worked at this Kroger, he’s had 6-7 interactions with Willis.
