Man shot dead at Central Ohio karaoke bar while on stage singing
Benjamin Hawk was singing Karaoke at Louie’s Corner House bar, located in Buckeye Lake, when he was murdered on July 11.
The suspect, Richard Lindgren, allegedly shot Hawk around 11:50 right when he started singing a tune on stage. Records say Hawk was singing karaoke outside on the patio when Lindgren allegedly approached Hawk from behind and shot him in the back of the head. Hawk was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lindgren immediately fled the scene and was later found and arrested in South Carolina, according to a Facebook post by Licking County Sheriff’s Office.
Louie’s Corner House has been around for over fifty years, and this is the first time something like this has occurred.
