Video: MCU star gives Columbus restaurant a shout-out
If you’ve had Hoyo’s Kitchen in Columbus, you know it’s good. The favorite local spot serves up authentic, Somali cuisine in both North Market locations (Downtown and Bridge Park), and has been operational since 2014.
Owned by “A.B.” Hassan and his family, Hoyo’s is definitely worth a try. And we’re not the only ones who think so. Will Poulter, a rising Hollywood movie actor, just gave Hoyo’s a shout-out on a recent episode of the podcast Table Manners.
You may know Will Poulter from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Maze Runner, his character on the hit television show The Bear, and oh yeah — he was that funny kid in Meet the Millers. He also recently appeared beside Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega (of Netflix’s Wednesday fame) in Death of a Unicorn, a dark horror comedy produced by A24. While shooting his upcoming film, Union County, Poulter was in Columbus when he tried Hoyo’s Kitchen and instantly fell in love — posting about the spot on his Instagram.
