Nationwide seeks to convert one of their iconic Downtown buildings into residential apartments

It could be the end of an era or the start of a new one, however you see it, for one of Columbus’ Downtown buildings.

Nationwide’s Plaza Two building, located at 280 N. High St., could be converted into residential housing.

An application filed with the City of Columbus shows that Nationwide Realty Investors has filed a site plan for the transition. Currently, there are other tenants in the building leasing office space, such as Ohio Farm Bureau.

This isn’t a new trend in Downtown Columbus—plenty of other offices have been redeveloped into housing, like the Continental Centre and The Preston Centre.
