New family-owned bookstore coming to Columbus suburb

This seems to be the year for new bookstores in Columbus, as many indie stores continue to announce openings and book-themed events — like this Adult Book Fair. And as an extremely bookish city, we are here for it.

Dragonfly Bookshop is a new bookstore coming to Hilliard, set to open fall 2025 at 4055 Main Street, suite 300. The bookstore will be “run by a family of four” who have lived in Hilliard for over 20 years. While the storefront is still working on getting up and running, Dragonfly Bookshop has just launched a website at dragonflybookshop.com.

This will be the only independent bookstore in Hilliard, joining the ranks of other Columbus-area bookstores opening this year, like Bound by Books in Grove City, and Blue Couch Bookshop in Grandview.
