Ohio festival attempting to break Guinness world for record for largest ‘bounce park’

Jack McLaughlin

In a particularly entertaining story from the July issue of (614) Magazine about his visit to FunBox Polaris, writer Matt Mahoney described an “arms-race in the world of maximalist bouncy houses,” with massive bounce parks from across the country, and even the world attempting to one-up each other for the title of the world’s largest.

And he couldn’t have been more accurate.

While FunBox—a massive traveling “bounce park” that will be at Polaris Fashion Place until September—is to the best of our knowledge the current record holder for the world’s largest bounce park, a new Ohio event is threatening the FunBox title.

Jump & Water Fest Ohio is coming this weekend to Victory Sports Park, which is located at 7777 Victory Ln. in North Ridgeville from Aug. 1-3. The festival will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for World’s Largest Inflatable Theme Park.

You can purchase tickets to the event here. It’s slated to include “massive bounce castles, obstacle courses, slides and bounce pits,” in addition to a DJ, food trucks and more. Both kids and adults are welcome.

According to its website, Funbox spans more than 25,000 square feet, while the Jump & Water Fest bounce park will be 35,000 square feet. If you want to read more about giant bounce parks in Ohio, check out Mahoney’s story from the July 2025 issue of (614) Magazine.
