WalletHub analysed each state across several categories, including Obesity & Overweight Prevalence (number of obese and overweight children, adults and teens), Health Consequences (numbers of individuals with health problems linked to obesity, such as type 2 diabetes or heart disease), and Food & Fitness (eating habits of individuals in each state and availability of fresh food).
