Olentangy High School basketball team featured in ‘SportsCenter’ post
The Olentangy High School varsity basketball team and its manager were featured in a post by the nation’s most iconic sports highlight program.
Over the weekend, SportsCenter reposted a reel (originally posted by @paigewoolford) from Senior night of the Braves’ basketball team, which was held on Feb. 21.
In the video, the team manager—identified in a post by Olentangy Schools as “Noah S.”—not only sings the National Anthem on Senior Night, but also hits a deep three as time expires in the game.
The team defeated Olentangy Berlin 53-35. The team is currently 13-9.
“Olentangy High School basketball boys Senior night is making national news thanks to senior Noah S.’s performance of the national anthem, and his end of game three pointer and celebration,” Olentangy Schools wrote in a Facebook post.
