The UFL is a professional American football minor league, or professional Spring Football league, that currently features eight teams throughout the United States. A newer franchise, the league officially began in 2024 after merging the XFL and USFL leagues. Airing games on ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, Fox, and Fox Sports, the UFL is a way for football fanatics to continue watching the game they love throughout the spring.
Columbus currently hosts multiple professional sports teams, ranging from hockey to women’s volleyball. As a sports-loving city (OH-IO!), a new pro team would be welcome with open arms — and lots of cheering.
