Suspect arrested in $250,000 Dublin jewelry theft
It sounds like the plot of a movie, but it’s real.
On Friday, Columbus Police announced the arrest of a suspect in the 2022 Tuttle Crossing jewelry theft that saw an estimated $250,000 worth of jewelry stolen from a Dublin store.
According to a social media post from Columbus Police, 24 year-old Deshaun Allen was arrested on Dec. 24 by the Fairfield County Sheriff’s office. A warrant for his arrest was filed on Nov. 25, “as a result of evidence processed from the scene [of the burglary].”

He was charged with burglary.
The incident occurred in early January of 2022, at a jewelry store located on the 5000 block of Tuttle Crossing. According to police, Allen allegedly smashed multiple glass cases inside the store and stole approximately $250,000 worth of jewelry.
