A concerned citizen tipped off police when they reported a group of teens smoking marijuana and discussing guns.
They weren’t just talking about guns. When the Whitehall Division of Police showed up to John Bishop Park, they found a 16-year-old with an assault rifle similar to an AK-47 and 26 rounds of ammunition in the magazine. Tools that could be used to break into cars were also found.
