Upper Arlington man & teens charged after toilet papering house prank goes wrong
Back in my day, teens could toilet paper someone’s house and get away with it.
That’s not the case for this Upper Arlington man and a group of teenagers, who were charged by Upper Arlington police after an incident that occurred on September 5th.
On that evening, videos surfaced online of a man driving his vehicle toward a group of teenagers who toilet papered his home, says the official statement from Upper Arlington Police.

“The man is also heard making threatening comments about carrying a firearm,” says the statement.
At the time of the incident, no one made a 911 call to dispatch an officer. Instead, the police decided to immediately launch an investigation after reviewing the video.
Based on the investigation, which involved interviewing all individuals involved including witnesses, charges were filed on September 11. The adult male is facing charges of “aggravated menacing,” plus disorderly conduct and reckless driving. The five teenagers who participated in the toilet papering are facing trespassing charges.
“The City of Upper Arlington and the Police Division take incidents like this very seriously. We encourage all residents—if you ever see concerning behavior or hear threatening remarks—to call 911 immediately so that officers can respond without delay,” said the statement.
