Video: Alpacas escape enclosure at Cedar Point petting zoo
First camels, then goats, now lamas.
According to a Fox 8 Cleveland story, on Friday, three alpacas escaped from the Cedar Point petting zoo.
A video that was captured by a park guest depicts a trio of alpacas casually walking outside of their enclosures.
“This morning, three alpacas from The Barnyard were observed walking along the Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad tracks,” a Cedar Point spokesperson told Fox 8.
Park officials said that the animals escaped after a third party service unlocked their enclosure cleaning.
In June 11 last year, multiple videos depicting camels roaming the park after escaping their enclosures made waves on TikTok. Just four days later, on June 15, videos of goats loose from their Cedar Point enclosures were shared widely on social media as well.
Shortly after this, following a USDA inspection, Cedar Point was hit with multiple USDA infractions, although these were quickly updated.
