A Whitehall sanitation worker was left unharmed after one home’s garbage caused a sizable explosion.

The city of Whitehall took to their social media accounts to share a video of the incident and clarify how they believed it happened in the first place.

“On Wednesday, January 29 Local Waste employees had a VERY close call with an oxygen tank that was illegally placed in a garbage can on the 4000 block or Elbern Ave.,” the city of Whitehall posted on its official Facebook page.

You can watch a video of the explosion.
