Bourbon & Chill? Learn how to make the signature cocktail from this popular Columbus restaurant
Bourbon & Chill.
No, it’s not some sort of weirdly-code phrase for a PG-13 experience, it’s one of the signature drinks at Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern, a popular bar and eatery with locations throughout the Columbus area.
Recently, Brown-Forman brand ambassador “Whiskey” Pete Wagner stopped by Rusty Bucket’s Worthington location, where the eatery’s “drink deputy” Jeff Erwin taught him how to make the drink.
Billed as a “perfect fall cocktail,” the Bourbon & Chill starts with Old Forester Bourbon, and adds St.-Germain (an elderflower liqueur) freshly-squeezed lemon juice, house-made chamomile simple syrup (which is “where that chill comes from,” according to Erwin), and mint leaves.
You can check out Wagner’s visit to the Rusty Bucket, and a full guide to making the Bourbon & Chill yourself, below.
