Caleb Downs, Columbus content creators and more combine forces to fight hunger alongside Mid-Ohio Food Collective
September is Hunger Action Month, which means Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC), the state’s largest food bank, is reining in OSU football stars, politicians, artists, influencers and business owners to show the myriad number of ways you can get involved in fighting hunger.
Available in the September issue of (614) Magazine, and as a standalone 16-booklet, MOFC is showcasing how people from all walks of life and spheres of influence fight food insecurity, and illuminating ways anyone in Columbus with a will to help can get involved.

You’ll hear from Ohio State Buckeyes star safety Caleb Downs about the hunger-fighting action he takes with his eponymous Trust Downs Foundation, and how Ohio State grad student and YouTuber with more than half a million followers Liam Layton (known by his channel name, The Plant Slant) finds ways to give back to worthy causes like MOFC. It also features Ohio Representative Crystal Lett, music photographer Greg Sours and Grove City Councilwoman/Grove City Brewing co-owner Jodi Burroughs, who all combat food insecurity in their own unique ways.
The booklet also includes a quick and easy guide to assist both those who wish to give a helping hand, or for individuals and families who may need help themselves.
You can check out MOFC’s Hunger Action Month booklet below, or their website to find a variety of ways you can get involved, however large or small.
