As you can already tell from the heat, summer has fully arrived in Columbus. And while that occasionally means 85-plus degree days, it also means festival season is here.

And this year, the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is your all-access pass to the city’s summer festival season, serving as the best way to get to and from Columbus’ top events. Even more, the COTA team works closely with event organizers to stay ahead of road closures, reroutes and more, meaning you can get to all of your favorite festivals and shows on time and with ease. 

Here’s a quick guide to using COTA during festival season:

SCORE YOUR TICKET – Download the Transit app or pick up a pass at 33 N. High or participating retailers.

FIND YOUR STAGE – Use the Transit app or COTA.com to plan your trip.

PEEP THE SET TIMES – Track your ride on the Transit app for real-time info.

JOIN THE CROWD – Tap to pay, scan your pass or pay $2 at the door.PLAY AFTER DARK – NEW! Late-night routes keep the good times rolling past midnight!
