From food to fun and professional sports, the Arena District has it all

Where in Columbus can you take in any number of professional sporting events, treat yourself to a medley of dining choices and attend a concert at the city’s premier outdoor music venue, all in the same neighborhood?

The Arena District is the answer.

As an established neighborhood with endless options, the Arena District offers both variety and convenience to choose from.

Arena District diners can try New Orleans-inspired Creole 2 Geaux, comfort food in the form of  jumbo sized mozzarella sticks at Moran’s, a full slate of breakfast offerings at Sunny Street Cafe or the unique fusion eatery Si Senor, which recreates Peruvian favorites in the form of flavorful sandwiches.

Fans attending an event at Nationwide Arena can enjoy a drink overlooking the plaza and arena at Whistle & Keg. With a rotating list of brews, there’s always something new to try. Plus, sawdust shuffleboard and weekly karaoke nights.

There’s far more than food in the Arena District as well. Abutting both Downtown and the Short North, the Columbus neighborhood takes its name from the—not one or two—but three sporting venues: Nationwide Arena (Columbus Blue Jackets), Lower.com Field (Columbus Crew) and Huntington Park (Columbus Clippers), so there’s something going on regardless of the time of year.

The walkable neighborhood also features ample opportunities to check out live entertainment, such as the city’s premier outdoor music venue Kemba Live!

So whether you’re here to catch a game, check out your favorite band as they take the stage or grab a bite—or two—to eat, we’ll see you in the Arena District soon.
