Gluten-free diners find lots to love at El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant

The popular eatery–which boasts more than a dozen locations throughout the Columbus area–offers plenty of gluten free options. And since it November is Gluten-Free Diet Awareness Month, we thought we’d showcase a few of them now.
Fajitas Vallarta: Sirloin steak, chicken and shrimp combine with a blend of classic fajita veggies for filling dish full of variety.
El Vaquero Bowl: Grilled chicken strips sauteed with zucchini, red pepper and poblano peppers are served over a bed of rice and topped with your choice of creamery red or green tomatillo or cheese sauce.
Fiesta Salad: A fresh salad meets authentic Mexican cuisine. Romaine and gourmet greens are combined with black beans, tomatoes, corn salsa, feta cheese, tortilla strips and grilled chicken.
Of course, you can always dig into El Vaq’s chips and salsa for a bright and flavorful way to start your dining experience, and if you’re thirsty (and gluten-free) you can grab one of El Vaquero’s famous flavored Margaritas as well.
