Illinois-based taco chain planning multiple Columbus locations through 2030
While you may already know that the fast-growing chain,Taco Pros, first-ever Buckeye State location is now officially open in Marysville, that’s not the only store they’re planning for Central Ohio.
According to Taco Pros Area Developer Jay Patel, the popular Midwestern chain based out of Hoffman Estates, IL is hoping to open 10 or more total Columbus-area storefronts over the next five years.
“10 is the goal for the next five years, but eventually we want to get to more locations in and around Central Ohio,” Patel told 614Now. “We want strategic and sensible growth and are not looking to have a location around every corner which would harm our own franchisees,” mentioned Patel.

Their first Central Ohio location, which Patel oversees as a franchisee (alongside managing partner Nirav Patel), is located at 15710 US Hwy 36 in Marysville. Its grand opening took place on Aug. 8. The concept features authentic made-to-order tacos, burritos, protein bowls, tortas and more, with flavors inspired by Mexican street food. Their guacamole and veggies are prepped fresh daily. The salsas and rice are proprietary recipes directly from their Central Kitchen.
And if you want to get in on the ground floor of the fast-growing taco concept, there’s no time like the present, as Patel is currently seeking for potential Central Ohio franchisees. “We are looking for enthusiastic, & hard working partners who have a long term vision”, said Patel.
With Patel serving as Area Developer for the brand under his company Ariya Group, franchisees will have the unique opportunity to be taken under his wing, receiving guidance before, during and even after their store openings. “We are really excited about where we are headed in the future with this brand”, said Patel.
If you’re interested in franchising or looking to add a growing brand to your portfolio as a Taco Pros franchisee, you can contact Jay Patel at infotacoprosoh@ariyagrp.com or at 614-554-3885.
