The largest Westerville Art Hop ever is coming to Uptown this month

Since its inception in 2019, the Westerville Art Hop has steadily expanded its reach, and this year will be the popular Uptown festival’s largest event ever, representing all genres of fine art the city has to offer.
According to Uptown Westerville executive director Lynn Aventino, the Art Hop originally served as a way to highlight local galleries and visual art when it opened in 2019. More has been added each year, with 2025 set to be the event’s most eclectic year ever.
“This year, we gave the Art Hop a major refresh and took it to a whole new level, making it more fun, engaging, and exciting for everyone involved.” Aventino said. “We wanted to celebrate all of the arts throughout Westerville.”
In addition to special spring exhibits in Uptown galleries–the event will feature 17 visual artists showcasing their work inside Uptown businesses–the 2025 Art Hop will also feature live chalk art demonstrations, four unique singer-songwriter performances, illustrators, a performance of the music from Bridgetown by the Westerville Symphony Orchestra, live dance demonstrations and an improv performance from Good Medicine Productions (the group behind Uptown Scrooge). Visual art from approximately 100 Westerville students will be on display across Uptown as well.
Additionally, the Westerville Historical Society will be offering free tours, local independent bookstores will be celebrating the 2025 Indie Bookstore Crawl and a Kiddie Hop with art teachers on hand to teach art to younger visitors will be added this year.
The 2025 Uptown Art, which is presented by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Edward Jones financial advisor Tim Bullock, will be held 12-4 p.m. on April 26.
