Ohio ranked as one of the nation’s most Pokemon card-obsessed states; Find out where we stand
According to a new study by Pinnacle Financial, a Holon Phantoms Gyrados Star Pokemon card is worth nearly $2,000, and a Base Set Shadowless Mewto card can fetch a cool $900. Feeling a little with Pokemon cards yet? If so, you’re not alone.
The study, which ranked the states most obsessed with Pokemon cards, tapped Ohio as the 7th most obsessed.
Pinnacle relied on the number of estimated annual Google searches from each state for the phrase “Valuable Pokemon Cards.” Ohio, alongside Michigan and North Carolina, were tied for 7th place on the list, with 3,600 estimated annual searches. The data is current as of July 15.
