Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m not really a kumbaya kind of guy. So while campfire singalongs might still make me cringe, even I can admit—with the state of the world currently—we could all benefit from a little more love in our lives.

And the February 2026 issue of (614) Magazine can bring that all of us.

This year, instead of twisting and turning to find a new riff on the topic of love, we decided to make things a little simpler, and let love itself take center stage.

The cover section of this issue features love letters from 15 different (614) Magazine readers, whether they’re in the form of a heartfelt “Dear Valentine” from a husband to a wife, a promise between long-term partners or even love letter to family members or oneself.

And if this doesn’t satisfy your desire for heartwarming content, our new-look wedding section probably will, highlighting a handful of unique local vendors (like a cake maker on top of her game for decades and the city’s first wedding social media content creator) and a pair of real local weddings, include one that took place in the Columbus Metropolitan Library.

Our February issue also features plenty of great food and drink content, with features on High Bank Distillery Co.’s vodka unexpectedly claiming the title of Best in the World, a profile on the city’s fast-growing “balloon empire” and even a story on a local couple who met on a 1980s radio dating show and have remained together ever since and much more.

You can read the entire February 2026 issue below.
