Sunday saw record snowfall in Columbus and a level 3 snow emergency was declared in Franklin County. Conditions couldn’t have been more ideal for a scenic cross country ski excursion around town. Beginning his journey in Victorian Village, “Ski Guy” made his way to Goodale Park, Glen Echo, and finally warmed up at Buckeye Donuts.
“It was the best snow day I could have asked for. I got to ski right out my door and visit all my friends around town”, he explained.
At the end of his journey, he enjoyed a gyro combo with tzatziki on the side and a German chocolate donut. Despite the snow, Buckeye Donuts reported record sales for the day, and eventually ran out of food altogether.
