Cuddle-curious? New community space in Clintonville offers ‘platonic cuddling sessions’

Sav McKee

Sometimes, we just want to be held and comforted.

A new community space, called Loom Collective, is helping those here in Columbus that are craving touch and connection in a non-sexual manner. The Clintonville space offers “platonic cuddling classes” and sessions almost every week.

If you’re cuddle curious, but don’t really know how it works, here’s what to expect:

  • Snacks & a cozy ambiance
  • Consent-based touch and conversation
  • Soft, low-pressure social space
  • Short opening circle to ground & review event agreements

Just to reiterate, this is a platonic space, and touch is never required. Participants must be 18 years or older.

There are different types of cuddling events, plus other community-based experiences at Loom Collective as well. Check them out here!
