European-based game concept planning first US location in Central Ohio

A European interactive entertainment concept is opening its first U.S. location in Hilliard.

Gamer, an interactive concept where participants can become contestants in their own game show, has selected Hilliard’s upcoming mixed-use development TruePointe as its first location in the United States.

The fast-paced games and challenges allow teams to compete in a 60- to 90-minute experience involving strategy, skill, and coordination, working to earn points and become victorious among their group.

The German-based concept is designed for collaboration gatherings from corporate events to casual date nights, the venue will offer drinks including European craft beers to keep the fun going.

Although there is no set opening date, Gamer intends to use its Hilliard location as a launch point for future expansion throughout the United States.
