Former NASCAR driver reopening historic Central Ohio racetrack this spring
After sitting empty and abandoned for years, a historical racetrack is coming back to life.
Mansfield Speedway, a 67-year-old racetrack that was once the site of vibrant motorsports and was once considered a top-tier venue for racing enthusiasts, was purchased by former NASCAR driver Matt Tifft. The Tifft team is extensively renovating the 180-acre racing facility, installing a Jumbotron, new grandstands, and a new dirt track.
