National pickleball venue chain opens first Columbus-area location
Hilliard is one step closer to achieving pickleball royalty.
Pickleball Kingdom, an indoor pickleball court facility, announced in July of 2025 that it had signed a lease to expand into the greater Columbus area with an expected early 2026 opening. Now, only a little over a year later, the Kingdom has provided a construction update that has everyone gripping their paddles.
On July 18, Pickleball Kingdom Hilliard posted on Instagram to announce that its outdoor sign is officially up on the building, and as the facility begins taking shape it’s anticipating a late August opening.

Located at 4500 Britton Pkwy., the pickleball facility spans approximately 36,000 square feet and features 15 professional-grade indoor courts, with a mezzanine viewing area, pro shop, and locker rooms, making Pickleball Kingdom a much-needed addition to Central Ohio’s growing pickleball community.
The club will also provide free coaching from experienced players for individuals of all skill levels to fully immerse themselves in the joy that is the sport of pickleball.
