The best of the best go-kart drivers in the state of Ohio will hit the track next month at the Columbus location of K1 Speed, with a shot at Nationals and Worlds–which comes with a $79,000 prize pool–on the line.

While anyone is able to attend the event, those competing in the event have earned a podium season finish in K1’s Challenge Grand Prix, (CGP) which occurs at every K1 Speed location on a monthly basis.

The top three finisher in the Feb. 1 event in Columbus will be invited to Southern California for the National Championship at K1 Circuit Winchester. If racers place on the national level, they’ll then have a chance to compete at the E-World Championships, which will include drivers from 10 countries and a prize pool of $79,000.
