World’s largest multi-level indoor go-kart track breaks ground in Columbus

The world’s largest indoor go-karting track is coming soon to Central Ohio.

Among Polaris attractions such as Topgolf and Smash Park is a new project from Supercharged Entertainment which broke ground on September 3.

Located at 9300 Lyra Drive in Columbus, Supercharged Entertainment Polaris will mirror the design of Supercharged Entertainment New Jersey, which opened in December 2022 in Edison, NJ, according to a press release. The 125,000-square-foot karting and premier entertainment venue will be located in the heart of Polaris.

The all-electric go-karts produce zero emissions, providing an environmentally friendly experience on the 80,000-square-foot, temperature-controlled track.

The Central Ohio area was sought out by Supercharged President Stephen and CEO Sandi Sangermano.

“Sandi and I couldn’t be more excited to break ground on what will be Ohio’s and the world’s best, all-in-one karting and entertainment venue,” said Stephen in a press release. “Supercharged Entertainment Polaris has something for everyone—couples, families, kids, groups, and companies. We can’t wait to bring Columbus and all of central Ohio the exhilarating and amazing fun our Polaris venue will have to offer.”

The venue will also feature a full-service restaurant and bar along with a two-story arcade and gaming area with more than 180 games including several virtual reality experiences.

Supercharged Entertainment is slated to open in the summer of 2027 and we can already feel the adrenaline rushing through us.
