I scream, you scream, and now Marion will scream for…custard!

Whit’s Frozen Custard, a local sensation that first opened in Granville back in 2003, announced they’d be opening in Downtown Marion for the first time ever. “We’ll be whipping up fresh, daily frozen custard before we know it,” they said on Facebook.

Their grand opening will be on February 27. This new location will be inside of The Lydia building at 119 E. Church St.

Whit’s uses a higher butterfat content to make their custard, resulting in a creamier alternative to traditional ice cream. Guests can opt for traditional scoops, or a famous “whitster,” with candy and cookie mix-ins. The chain also offers dairy-free options!
