6 Piece: National fried chicken chain closes half a dozen Cbus locations, more around Ohio

While Chick-fil-A is rapidly expanding around Ohio, another national fried chicken chain is trimming the fat.

KFC (formerly Kentucky Fried Chicken) is shutting down a handful of Ohio stores. The chain’s revenue is reportedly one of the lowest when compared to other national chicken chains, according to Daily Meal.

KFCs around the country have been abruptly closing, and several in Ohio have reportedly faced the same fate.

The following locations have reportedly closed in Central Ohio in the past seven months:

1785 Hilliard Rome Rd., Hilliard
1970 Stringtown Rd., Grove City
2815 London Groveport Rd., Grove City
298 S. Hamilton Rd., Gahanna
3819 E. Broad St., Columbus
4721 Morse Rd., Columbus

Multiple other locations across Ohio have closed as well, in the following locations:

Bucyrus
Washington Court House
Strongsville
Piqua
North Royalton
Brunswick
Willoughby
Minerva
