66 year old national pizza chain opening another Columbus location

A national pizza chain that started in 1960 is bringing yet another Columbus location, this time in the Downtown area.

Domino’s Pizza is headed to 386 E. Main St., in the former home of Way Down Yonder Beignets. According to permits, the project costs around $230,000.

There are already dozens of Domino’s Pizza locations throughout Central Ohio, with its popularity coming from affordable pizzas loaded with melted cheese and a sweeter sauce.

An opening date has yet to be announced.
