A new Ohio Bucc-ee’s located only an hour from Downtown Columbus is currently in the works
Sheetz and Wawa are both great, but let’s not kid ourselves: Bucc-ee’s is in a league of its own when it comes to gas station snacking.
And now, according to Mansfield mayor Jodie perry, a new Bucc-ee’s is being planned for the Mansfield area, at the intersection of 1-71 of State Route 39.

“Here is the scoop! Last Friday, a petition for annexation was filed with the City, County, and Madison & Mifflin Townships for the development of a travel center at the 39 & 71 interchange. This is the next step in a process that has already been in the works for months with a little company you may have heard of – Buc-ee’s,” Perry posted earlier this month on her official Facebook page.
She noted the new Bucc-ee’s isn’t finalized, but would bring jobs and revenue, in addition to “the Wall of Jerky, pulled pork, and the legendary spice section” to the area. The Mansfield City Council approved the annexation of the land for Bucc-ee’s in a Tuesday meeting. The Richland County Board of Commissioners will vote to approve the annexation tomorrow.
