A national content creator is throwing some serious shade on the Central Ohio food scene.

According to a list from RealEstate, a (you guessed it) real estate-based Instagram account with nearly 275,000 followers, Columbus has the second worst food scene in the country.

  1. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
  2. Columbus, Ohio
  3. Indianapolis, Indiana
  4. Memphis, Tennessee (outside of BBQ)
  5. Jacksonville, Florida
  6. El Paso, Texas (limited variety vs. size)
  7. Louisville, Kentucky
  8. Kansas City, Missouri (outside of BBQ)
  9. Albuquerque, New Mexico (outside of local cuisine)
  10. Fresno, California

RealEstate notes, “This is about the overall food scene in each city, compared to other major U.S. cities. Variety, consistency, quality and how strong the city is as a true food destination.”

While that doesn’t seem to mean a whole lot without specifics or data to point, and we’re not actually sure what “limited variety vs. size” means, at least Columbus is considered a major city now?
