After 12 years, this Grandview restaurant is permanently closing

It’s the end of an era for grandview Cajun cuisine.

In a social media post earlier today, Yats Grandview announced that it will close its doors for good on Aug. 20. The restaurant, which is located at 1386 Grandview Ave., first opened in the summer of 2014. It was known for a variety of Cajun and Creole dishes, including Gumbo, Chili-Cheese Crawfish Étouffée, and their Drunken Chicken stew.

“This wasn’t an easy decision, but what will never change is how grateful we are for every customer who walked through our doors, shared a meal, introduced friends to Yats, or made us part of your lives. You’ve helped create memories that we’ll carry with us forever,” the post reads.

Fans of the concept can rest assured that it isn’t leaving Columbus outright, as the Yats food truck will remain open.

Yats, which is based in Indianapolis, will continue to operate multiple locations in Indiana as well.
