After announcing closure, longtime Central Ohio pizzeria lands new location
Earlier this month, Firehouse Pizza announced its plans to close its current location after claiming the building’s current owners sought a new tenant following the expiration of their lease.
Just over two weeks after confirming the closure of their Thornville eatery, the Central Ohio pizzeria announced it has found a new home.
“We’re Coming Home! A few weeks ago we announced that we would need to leave our Thornville location due to our building being sold. We have nearly finalized the deal on our new location and we couldn’t be more excited,” a post to the pizzeria’s Facebook page reads. “WE ARE MOVING TO HEATH!!! As long time Heath residents, we are thrilled to announce that we are bringing our locally owned, family oriented restaurant to our hometown!”

The new Firehouse Pizza will be located at 32 Licking Dr. in Heath. It’s planning to open in August of 2026, but an exact opening date wasn’t announced.
The pizzeria will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the new location, with a lunch buffet slated for Fridays.
