After nearly a decade, Columbus-area eatery closes

A Powell cafe that’s operated for nearly 10 years has closed its doors.

According to a statement from Be Fit Cafe that was posted to the eatery’s Facebook page, the brand closed on Feb. 22.

“​​After much thought, we’ve made the decision to close our doors effective today. It has been an incredible journey serving you wholesome, delicious food and we are so grateful for every single one of you who made this place what it was,” the post reads. “We have loved serving our customers in Powell, Dublin, Worthington, and beyond. Your loyalty has meant everything to us.”

In its statement, the eatery noted that it currently doesn’t have any plans to reopen locally.

Be Fit Cafe, which is located at 10259 Sawmill Pwky. in Powell, originally held its grand opening in June of 2017.
