Longstanding Columbus pizza concept ‘struggling with sales drought,’ appeals to customers for help
A Columbus pizza concept of more than 25 years is in need of support.
In order to overcome a recent “sale drought,” the brand sent an ongoing deal to previous Mama Mimi’s Pizza customers yesterday in an email.
“We have been struggling with a sales drought this summer. We could use a little boost so here is an exclusive offer for you,” the email reads. It notes that customers can use the coupon code HR25 to receive 25 percent off of their order. There are no limits to the number of times the coupon used, and it expires on Aug. 31.

Owner Jeff Aufdencamp told 614Now that the local pizza eatery—which offers take-and-bake pizzas intended to be cooked in customers’ homes—has been struggling for the previous six months.
“We’re local, we need some help and we appreciate all the support from our community. We’re here for you and we want to keep on making pizza for everybody,” Aufdencamp said in a video posted to Mama Mimi’s Facebook page in May.
The brand, which originally opened in 2000, operates three locations, in Grandview, Clintonville, and on Bethel Road.
