‘Apple pie in a cup:’ Clintonville spot offering must-try seasonal coffee treat
A beloved gourmet donut spot has been expanding into the world of caffeinated sweet treats lately. For one weekend only, you can try “Apple Pie as a drink” at Rose Dough Donuts in Clintonville.

The donut shop, located at 3375 N. High St., teased the sweet treat on their social media. The post said, “Apple pie as a drink – in our new hot coffee con panna. Scratch spiced apple cider syrup, Royal Flamingo Brazil roast, vanilla whipped cream, little fall cookie! Try one this weekend only.” The timing could not be better, the shop also announced that pumpkin donuts return for the season this weekend.
Rose Dough Donuts is known for their gourmet donuts and innovative, limited-time flavors. The coffee side of the donut operation is called Bloom Brew, they partner with familiar names like Royal Flamingo and Roosevelt Coffee Roasters to bring limited-edition sweet coffee treats to the shop. In honor of National Coffee Day, they’ve added a pumpkin brew to the menu. According to social media, the coffee side is growing. They said, “We’re having fun developing our Bloom Brew coffee program and are excited to keep coming up with new ideas.” Stay tuned here for menu updates, announcements, and more.
