Award-winning mobile cafe concept coming to Columbus soon

Columbus is getting a new mobile cafe popup soon—The Roaming Bean is rolling into town. The cafe announced the concept via social media.

The post said, “BIG NEWS, beans…The Roaming Bean is officially rolling into Columbus, Ohio! This is a huge moment for us, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our coffee (and the cutest trailers around) to a brand new city.” The  Pittsburgh-based concept was started in 2022 by Penny Folino, and it has grown to a brick-and-mortar storefront with a franchise of roaming cafe trailers. The concept is known for decadent lattes with seasonal menus. The summer menu features flavors like Key Lime Pie Matcha, Coconut Mocha, Toaster Strudel, and Banana Carrot Crumb Cake Lattes. The brand is award-winning, with two consecutive wins as “Best Local Coffee Shop” and “Best Food Truck” in Pittsburgh Magazine’s “Best of the Burgh awards”. 

The company is currently hiring baristas for the Columbus expansion. An opening date has not yet been confirmed, stay tuned and follow their socials here for updates.
