Popular Brooklyn-style bagel chain opening first Columbus location

The Buckeyes just got more bagels.

Philadelphia bagel chain Bagels & Co. announced the opening of its Columbus location, the first Ohio expansion for the bagel shop.

Located at 220 W Lane Ave., near Ohio State University, Bagels & Co. soft-opened on July 3, allowing guests to discover their new go-to favorites over the holiday weekend. The official grand opening will be July 10.

Bagel & Co. features traditional bagels such as Plain, Sesame, and Everything, as well as specialty bagels like Rainbow, French Toast, and Cheddar Habanero.

Where the concept really stands out is its schmear case. With over 20 homemade cream cheese spreads, guests will have a hard time not finding the perfect schmear for their bagel. From Honey Nut Schmear on a Blueberry bagel to Bacon Scallion on a Dorito Bagel—no combo will be turned away.

Also featured on the menu are classic cafe drinks and signature sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch.
