BBQ ice cream? Grippo pairs with UDF to create unique new ice cream flavor

One of Ohio’s most prominent potato chip brands has made its inaugural appearance in the frozen foods section. 

The iconic Ohio snack brand Grippo Foods has partnered with United Dairy Farmers (UDF) to bring a unique new flavor to both UDF and Kroger locations across the Buckeye State.

Fun Good Crunch features a buttered popcorn-flavored ice cream base with a caramel swirl that’s infused with Grippo’s Bar-B-Q seasoning and crunchy pieces of chocolate-covered pretzels.

The limited-edition flavor was rolled out last weekend. It’s available, while supplies last, in 16-ounce pints at UDF and Kroger stores across Ohio.

“This collaboration brings together two hometown brands that share a commitment to quality, family values and creating products people love. Fun Food Crunch captures the spirit of both companies in a way that’s nostalgic, playful and uniquely Cincinnati,” Michael Ahmed, CEO of UDF said in a press release.
